Dear Members,
We are required to further adapt following the tightening of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
No more than six people are permitted to gather in England - with a few exceptions, which include going to school, work, or 'exceptional life events'.
The rules apply across England to all ages and in any setting either indoor and outdoors, at home or a pub/club.
Failure to stick to the new rules could mean a £100 fine, which will double with every subsequent offence up to £3,200
The Prime Minister has said it is safer to meet outdoors and people should keep their distance from anyone they do not live with, even if they are close friends or family. People must not meet socially in groups of more than six - and if you do, you will be breaking the law.
To ensure the health, well-being and safety of our colleagues and customers, members MUST take the following steps:
1/ Social distancing must be observed at all times whilst in the clubhouse.
2/ A 2 metre distance from other customers and colleagues must be maintained.
3/ Adhere to the marked One Way system that is in operation.
4/ Only 2 people are allowed at the bar at any time.
The number of customers allowed in the Clubhouse at one time will be limited to 30, therefore as from Saturday 19th September 2020 onwards, we will only be able to admit customers into the Clubhouse who wish to purchase food and drinks.
If you do not wish to purchase food or drinks please do not come into the Clubhouse.
We regret that children under16 will not be allowed in the Clubhouse unless they too are eating or drinking.
These regulations relate to us all so please help by observing the restrictions.
Thank you.
Jan and the Executive Committee.
