Please be informed that we will be saying goodbye to Alex on the 13th of December 2PM at Barham Crematorium. Parking will be an issue as I'm expecting a large turnout paying their respects so early arrival would be recommended.

Alex's wife Lynn has asked for bright colours or club blazers etc. and has requested that any donations are made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust.

After the ceremony, we are invited to celebrate Alex's life back at the rugby club. The microphone will be available for anyone who wishes to say a few words or share their memories of Alex.

Lets give him a proper Folkestone Rugby Club send-off.

MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that our great Rugby stalwart Alex Ruddock passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Monday 13th November.

I would not have enough paper to write down all the roles Alex has taken on during his many years at the club, but I can assure you the club has been in a far better place with him involved. He will be greatly missed by all club members, especially Sunday mornings recently, sitting in the club with his computer in hand, helping all of us register on the dreaded GMS platform .

I know our thoughts go out to Lynn his long suffering Rugby wife, along with his extended family at this very sad time. I have offered all assistance to Lynn in the coming weeks which I'm sure will be very difficult for her.
